Nothing gets your heart and lungs pumping like a bike ride which is why we’ve chosen a cycling challenge to raise funds for the Heart and Lung Research Institute of WA (HLRI WA).
Now in its third year the Capital Limited Breaths and Beats Ride for Research is a great way to help change the lives of West Australians with advanced heart and lung disease by funding dedicated research.
Grab a bike and join our heart and lung transplant recipients – on Sunday 9th November 2025 as they cycle a choice between a scenic 34km or challenging 60km route that starts and finishes at the picturesque South Perth foreshore.
Capital Limited Breaths and Beats 2025 will take off from the South Perth foreshore on Sunday 9 November 2025.
Twenty heart or lung transplant recipients will be joining hundreds of riders on either a 34km or 60km route through South Perth.
Capital Limited Breaths and Beats riders are supported by generous sponsors, family, friends and colleagues. Get behind their cycling efforts with a donation to their fundraising page.
The start and finish line at Sir James Mitchell Park will be full of colour, sound and atmosphere as friends and family members gather to spur on the cyclists and enjoy the entertainment on offer.
